Our Experience
Fiona has been breeding dogs for 23 years with a keen focus on miniature schnauzers for the last 16 years. As such she has also upskilled her abilities and is now a certified dog groomer, certified microchipper and is a respected and responsible member of the NSW Miniature Schnauzer community, recently joining the Qld association.
While some breeders are simply in it for the money, Fiona is known to be an honest breeder that genuinely cares for the wellbeing of her dogs. In fact, she aims for puppy and dog perfection, which is attained via her thorough testing of each animal. This generous monetary investment ensures the miniature schnauzer she provides you with is as healthy as possible.

History of Miniature Schnauzers
The miniature schnauzer originated in Germany in the 19th century. There were three types, giant, standard and miniature. The miniature schnauzer came about due to cross-breeding between the standard schnauzer with smaller breeds of dogs such as the Poodle and Affenpinscher.
Historically, miniature schnauzers have been captured in portraits as far back as 1471. At the same time they were used for Police work and drug detection in Germany and England.
Fast forward to today, and while they aren’t used as working dogs per se, they are becoming a well-known breed as therapy dogs. Additionally, miniature schnauzers are one of the most popular breeds worldwide due to their temperament and small size.
